Instagram - Twitter - Wordpress - Youtube

All of the current work below, is stored simaltaneously, passively and actively. There is intent to always do more with it, to reflect and look back on it, and use it for research purposes. I use Instagram and Wordpress as a means of keeping an active space of work, uploading regularly. However, Twitter and Youtube, there isn't much day to day thought for the wider context useage. I always find it mainly useful as a marketing tool, to use as a link to programmers, producers and potential collaborators to get an idea of my work in an immediate sense.

Instagram 35mm Film Documentation

The majority of my work is derived from my film photography, this is documented on my instagram for storage and exposure purposes.

As previously mentioned, this is seperate from any digital documentation using cameras such as any Canon model.

For the above pictures (which *are* my work, as opposed to digital copies or documentation, that are simply *pictures* of my work) I use an Olympus AF-10 Super and Olympus 35RC.

The main difference here, as to why I favour film, is that film pictures have a softer focus, and I find they capture a lot of nuances, grains and details that digital seems to lose.

Twitter Promotion - Mouth ->

Above are screenshots of my company MOUTHs twitter with screenshots of engagement we received when promoting our last show.

This engagement shows how vital a social media precense can be for your work and practice, and how interacting with companys and artists online can be mutually benefical to develop relationships and promote material and shows.

Manchester School of Theatre - Performance Twitter ->

Utilising the universities twitter account for takeovers and artist statements is a great tool for networking and showcasing your work whilst studying with the university. You are able to engage and interact with the likes of the Manchester School of Art and MMU which is benefical to both the university, as they can share your practice/boost their student, whilst you are able to network through bigger accounts like theirs, sharing and retweeting your work to a much larger audience.

Wordpress - Live Documentation ->

My wordpress is updated with completed writing works, work-in-progress, short TBC works as means of promoting and holding interest to check back on the site at a specific date. All writing is supported by the photograph that inspired the work. Visual aids are always important anyway to maintain engagement, and it also creates a familiarity with your audience.

Youtube - Mouth Documentation ->

MOUTHs youtube documentation has been a significant part of our digital curation and archival process. It's a really sufficent way to organise performances in terms of being able to manage and preserve it for long term access. This form is also useful for linking to fellow practitioners and programmers for showcasing purposes.
